While summer break is an excellent time for all children to charge up their batteries, a long break from academics actually results in learning losses both in reading. This is especially true for children with dyslexia and learning differences. These losses accumulating over the years result in students with learning differences to fall behind even further than their peers. So this means that parents of children with learning differences just might want to consider Orton Gillingham Tutoring with some educational activities.

Summer can actually be a great time to polish up reading skills to narrow the gap that might already exist. These couple of months is an excellent opportunity for students with learning differences to catch up where they have fallen behind. Unlike during the school year, focusing on one subject at a time without the distraction of other classes could result in significant gains in a short period of time.

Our summer program offers dramatic results.  We will provide the needed support to get students to improve reading and decoding skills during the long summer months.  The intensive one-on-one reading, spelling and comprehension program utilizes our multi-sensory phonemic, Orton-Gillingham approach.  The summer program helps kids in a way that a regular summer program would not.

At Pam’s Reading, we offer tutoring to give students a giant boost in their weakest areas.  Summer reading tutoring is so critical for those with ADHD, ADD Dyslexia, Auditory and Visual Processing Disorder, Speech Deficits and other Learning Disabilities as they lose more skills than regular students during the summer months.

The intensive one-on-one reading, writing, and comprehension program utilizes our multi-sensory, phonemic, Orton-Gillingham approach.  This program helps kids in a way that a regular summer school program would not.
